Video Clips 25W IS SEEN ROUNDING THE TIGHT CURVES AT FISHING CREEK 1:00 - 3.0MB

Fishing Creek is an interesting spot.  To access it (from Holtwood) follow River Road south, then turn right onto Furniss Rd.  Make the next right onto Silver Springs Rd.  This road turns into Susquehannock Drive, which brings you out at Fishing Creek Road. Turn right again, and follow this road until to get to the tracks.  You will notice that the area is fairly open, which is due to the fact that there used to be a substation here for the catenary. You will also notice that the road crosses the tracks.  This crossing is pretty tricky, you cannot turn right when the cross the tracks, you have to cross and then go left.  There are a few summer cabins around (all private property) that are all accessed from alongside the tracks.  The Fishing Creek detector is located here, and CP MIDWAY is just north of here as well.   The tracks also cross the outlet of Fishing Creek (imagine that!) here on a tiny stone bridge, but it looks tricky to get a good photo of it.
A little word of caution: last time I was here somebody called the cops on me, probably because I looked suspicious.  You may want to make it obvious what you are doing.
